If bucket boots, eye patches and hooks ARRRR your thing ...this crewe is NOT for you.

The Crewe of the Archangel centers on a fictitious private ship of war. Firmly established in historical fact, the crew portrays the predator: pyrate hunters and privateers. Our groups focus expands beyond the ship’s crew, demonstrating the lives of not only mariners, but also civilians with whom they may have come in contact. Our goal is to teach maritime and early colonial history during the turbulent time of the Golden Age of Pyracy; bringing the history to life by honing researched interpretations of the men women and children of the day.

We are an award-winning group of educators:consistently placing in the awards at Jamestown's Military Through the Ages, three times chosen to represent National Geographic's Real Pirates/Whydah exhibition, who interpret the technology, social norms, economic culture, and religious beliefs of the time. If you

are interested in learning more about our crewe or even being “Pressed into service”, please see the Contact page. Thank ye.
